Mario Adams says:
"This untapped gem just metres upstream from "The Smoke that Thunders" is not included in most tours and is more requented by locals of Victoria Falls town. During high water season, one can stand on its' banks and witness the sheer flowing power of the river as it races to its 102 metre drop of doom. Low-water season presents you with the unforgetable experience of viewing elephants crossing the now-calmer river to nearby islands in search of more nutritive food sources. This area is home to large numbers of Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo and Crocodile and the weary visitor should take caution in their territory. The area's historical significance also surfaces as, closeby, visitors can visit the famous 'Big Tree';a 1800 year old Baobab tree made famous as a meeting point for early settlers crossing the river. Further upstream, there is an opportunity to take a sundowner cruise (Booze Cruise) with an unlimited amount of snacks, drinks ,as well as an awe-inspiring Zambezi sunset, included in the reasonable price of USD40."
