Driving & Directions around the World |
Driving abroad is often a daunting prospect for travellers. Differing driving styles, rules of the road & even sides of the road can be difficult to negotiate. But whether you are driving on the right hand side or the left hand side, a good start is to understand a bit about the road signs and be able to ask for directions if you need to.
To help get you started, our guides to driving in various countries around the world give you some top driving tips for that particular country as well as a few key words and phrases to help you understand road signs and ask your way if you get lost. Did you know, for example, that many petrol stations in France and Italy are not open on a Sunday and that the automated petrol pumps need either a local bank card or the exact money in cash (as they don’t give change).
So, to set you on the road to successful driving abroad whilst on holiday… please choose your travel destination form the country menu on the right hand side. |
