Greece Question from vicky roberts - 16 October 2012
Q: Is Lindos Rhodes typically greek or very commercialised?
A: There are plenty of tourists but Lindos has largely managed to retain its Greek charm. Lindos also has the famous Acropolis which is very much worth a visit.
Greece Question from Valerie Hoggett - 25 April 2012
Q: How do we get from Vathy in Samos to Naxos by ferry?
A: There does not seem to be a direct ferry, in which case you need to go via another island, probably Mykonos. Try greeka.com for ferries from Samos to Mykonos and on to Naxos.

Greece Question from Mrs M Welch - 28 August 2011
Q: Comments on trip advisor etc. on Finikounda in the Mani state that it is a good sailing and wind-surfing resort. I am a beach person and wonder if this resort would be a repeat of Palaeochora in Western Crete 2 years ago where for 10 days out of the 14 it was impossible to sunbathe on the beach because of wind blowing sand all over you. I would be going end of June/early July. Does anyone know an accurate answer to this one -I cannot find mention of this anywhere - but many tourists prefer to sunbathe around pools so this problem would not arise for them?
A: Our information is that strong winds at Finikounda are only really likely in winter/spring. This is confirmed by the Windsurfing forums that suggest it is very much a beginners resort i.e. gentle winds.
Greece Question from carol simpson - 13 August 2011

Greece Question from Stathis Magerakis - 06 July 2011
Q: Which Cyclades island in Greece should I visit this summer?
A: The Cyclades island group is stunning and unspoilt. Our favourite is Santorini (or Thira) in all its blue & whitewash beauty. Hotels can be expensive but why not get a group together and try a company like James Villas who offer fantastic Santorini villas.
