Argentina Question from emilia moretti - 28 November 2012

Argentina Question from Sue - 03 January 2012
Q: what is the best way to get from Ushuaia to Punta Arenas to Puorto Natales and then on to El calafate
A: There is a bus from Ushuaia to Punta Arenas but the journey takes all day. There are also flights with LAN but these are usually expensive. The bus on to Puerto Natales is only 5 hours or so and it is a similar bus journey onto El Calafate. Or, for more flexibility, hire a car through Europcar or similar.
Argentina Question from Roseann - 10 August 2011
Q: If we wanted to fly to Mendoza Argentina from Washington D.C. with making a stop in between to make the trip not so long how would we do it?
A: There is no obvious mid-distance stopping off point. You could go via Miami or Mexico City but these are not really half way. If flying direct to Argentina you will probably be stopping in Buenos Aires to make the connection on to Mendoza. Again, this is not even close to half way though.
