Although Kungliga Biblioteket is the national library of Sweden, none of the books in the Swedish collection can loaned. There are around 15 million items in the library, filling 98 kilometres of shelf space! The library is one of Europes leading research libraires specialising in the humanities has a Microfilm Reading Room.
If you had not been to Drottninggatan, your trip to Stockholm is just uncomplete! The shopping streets might be busy at times but the environment is truly special, clean and attractive with shop lots at every corner. It is a place you must go if you have a chance to visit Stockholm.
