"Parliament Square is an evocative splash of greenery and tranquillity amidst the bedlam of everyday London. Rich in history, the area includes the House of Lords, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye. Inspiring statues of Churchill, Richard the Lionheart and Emmeline Pankhurst can be found at the House of Lords and in the nearby Victoria Tower Gardens. And no trip to London is complete without hearing Big Ben chime by the River Thames!"

"Lincoln's historic town centre is a great place to walk around as there are no cars on the main street. Try the Bailgate beside the Cathedral for great restaurants and bars. In the centre of town just beyond the railway crossing The Treaty of Commerce pub does good lunchtime food. Beware of the chain restaurants beside the Brayford, poor quality and expensive."

"Manchester is a fantastic night out. It has some really stunning destinations and eateries. I recommend it highly, 5 stars!!!"
Laila Noble
"London's Regent Street is fabulous for shopping. It is really easy to get to on the tube and the sight seeing busses pass along it as well."

"London can be wonderful. Don't just follow the tourist trail, but get lost. For instance, around Fleet Street, it's wonderful, with the Old Curiosity Shop, the Cheshire Cheese, and other "hidden" buildings."

"No matter how many times and no matter where I approach the Houses Of Parliament from, I am filled with awe at their powerful architecture, amazed that they were never harmed by war, breathless at the intricacy of detail as they stand powerful and proud on the Thames. What has gone on behind their majestic walls over the years, the men who have held power over the land contained within those walls all adds to they mystery and magnificence... London's pride."
