Varadero Travel Guide Q: My Family and I are travelling to Cuba this month, none of us are planning on having any accidents, but, if we do we of course have good insurance cover but were wondering what health care was like in such a poor country? A: Despite it being a poor country, the Cuban health system is considered one of the best in south and central America. "We stayed there in October 2009, whilst it looks bery nice there are many faults, aircon was NEVER on, most of the staff were brilliant but some were obnoxious to say the least and i have bever seen so many people with bad mosquito bites. Entertainment was "in your face" and too loud. we will not go there again, should be 2 star"
