"About Guadalmina Spa & Golf Resort In Marbella... My husband and I stayed at the hotel on 9th Sept to 15th to attend a wedding at a nearby venue. We hoped for a relaxing break and were not disappointed with the hotel arranged by Daniel (our Tour Manager). I should say that it is in a residential location, on the beach front, It is ideal if you have a car otherwise you will need taxis to get about. The hotel is well furnished and has a very quiet ambience about it. The rooms are more than adequate and the staff are friendly. The pools, bars and restaurants are nearest the sea front and away from the bedrooms so noise is not a problem. Generally speaking the beaches in this part of spain are not that nice - but this is definitely the best I have come across. Whether it was the time of year or not, the beach was very quiet and added to the relaxation we sought. The food in the hotel is very good. We tried both restaurants. The breakfast in the morning is varied and good and all tastes catered for, although sometimes the service was a little slow. The Sunday morning brunch is an event in itself and is very popular with people living in the area which is a recommendation in itself. we had a wonderful time! also, Daniel, arranged a wonderful Private-day trip to Tangier Morocco, This day ended up being our favorite day of our week trip to Spain! We would strongly recommend that you rent a car and explore the surrounding areas. Also, take the tour of Tangiers if you're the adventerous type! We would recommend this hotel and Daniel Private tours In Spain and Tangier-Morocco to our friends and family! Have fun!!"
