Rhodes Travel Guide

Q: Is Lindos Rhodes typically greek or very commercialised?
A: There are plenty of tourists but Lindos has largely managed to retain its Greek charm. Lindos also has the famous Acropolis which is very much worth a visit.

Dawn says:
"This is minutes out of Faliraki, on one side of the hill you have Laidiko beach & on the other the Anthony Quinn Bay. Both are equaly stunning.. the anthony quinn is pebbly & there's a charge for sunbeds and parasols. I have been several times and germans and italians frequent this tiny bay, but if you don't pay a visit you will regret it. Also to note that a couple of minutes out onto the main drag, as if your going towards Lindos, is sambika beach which is of the fine sand variety and goes on forever, with crystal clear water calm seas... and it doesnt get crowded."

Charlotte Marchant-Jones says:
"I know Faliraki hasn't got a wonderful reputation... but there are little corners like this that are beautiful and I think people forget that!"

Walter Ninto says:
"Faliraki has not got a great reputation but it's actually a lovely part of the island. Good for kids too."
