Prague Travel Guide

Q: How many miles are travelled by tourists on foot every year?
A: Goodness knows. But here is our go at a guess: average of 1 million people on holiday on any given day, each walking an average of 3 miles per day... equals well over 1,000,000,000 miles per year.

Phillip Burgon says:
"Went to Prague for 3 nights in October 2008.It certainly proved to be a beautiful historic city.It is much larger than one imagines.Go to the top of the Zizcov TV tower and see the full pannorama.Buy a 3 day tram and metro pass from the kiosk at the airport £11 per person excellent value the metro is highly efficient and trains are frequent.Sadly the exchange rates are not too good now food and drink prices are similar to UK cities."

Karen Muir says:
"So much more than just a stag weekend party town for leary lads, Prague has stunning architecture, history at every turn and surprisingly tasty cuisine. A destination for your diary."
