"Hi Susan, That's the first time I've seen Paris and Skegness mentioned on the same page! Skegness is defintely fun... not sure it's quite as romantic as Paris though?!"

Susan Langton says:
"If you like a jam packed fun vacation with endless laughs go to Skegness… I recommend it highly! "

Lois Ronberg says:
"You won’t gather in the Place de la Concorde for a revolution or to witness a guillotine in action but you will join thousands of other tourists as you experience a very special traffic sensation. Motor vehicles whizz by, horns hooting in this the largest ‘place’ in Paris. History abounds in the eight hectare (20 acre) open space in the heart of Paris where Louis XVI and Marie Antionette joined over 2000 others to walk up to the guillotine in the Revolution between 1793 and 1795. Nowadays you can stand in awe of the 3300 year old granite 230 tons monolith that is the 75 foot Obelisk of Luxor, given in 1829 to Paris by the then Viceroy of Egypt. I just love the huge green and gold fountains - La Fountain des Mers and Elevation of the Maritime fountains - with stunning statues featured and the old lamp-posts. This ‘Place” is hugely popular and when you visit you will see why. Place de la Concorde is bordered by the Bridge of Concorde over the River Seine with views down to the Palais Bourbon, the start of the Tuilerie Gardens where you can look down to the Madeleine and the Champs Elysees with the view to the Arc de Triomphe in the distance. I always like to look in to the forecourt of the extremely ‘’posh’‘ hotel fronting the ‘Place” , with the well-dressed concierge standing outside amid upmarket top-line motor vehicles. Don’t try to drive in here, pedestrian traffic is the way to go here - it is madness on the roads. This is a stunning place to start your Paris visit during the day and at night there is a totally different perspective ... go soon, Paris will welcome you."

Amanda Bierman says:

Sophie says:
"WOW! i love France"

"If you like to travel and you want to do from this a hobby, then at least once during your lifetime you should visit Paris. The city of love, fashion, arts and beautiful has so many things to offer to its visitors: well-known monuments, museums, restaurants and other great places."

Latifa Al Awadhi says:
"The best city to spend a romantic time at. If you need a romantic, peaceful place with great sights and places to dine, Paris is the place to visit."
