Monte Carlo Travel Guide

Q: If you are in your 40s and want to take off and travel, what advice would be essential.
A: Sounds exciting! Lots to think about but as a start: a) Hunt around for a decent long term travel insurance policy; b) Do a budget... you will inevitably spend more than you think and this needs to fit with whatver income you are going to have; c) Make some sort of plan about what things you want to see and do. Bon Voyage!

Hala says:
"I like the place, Monaco is definitely a great place to be. Nice use of space, not too much crowded with buildings, but so warm and nice, and I can see that the weather is lovely, and the air is very fresh there, so yeah Monte-Carlo is a wonderful place to go to. "

"We have been coming to Monaco for many years - the reason is simple, clean, crime free, friendly but extremely glamorous. Our favourite place to eat is Caravelle in Port Hercule - the very best Pizza believe me. Try it. Roberto will make you very welcome and the atmosphere is so relaxed, having a beer and a pizza sitting beside the port - nothing better."

"Once in your life you have to go for a trip in Monaco. This mythic place, between the Alpes and the Mediterranean sea will offer you dreams and reality. Monaco Monte-Carlo provides you many discoveries... a highly cultured place with a warm welcome and some of the nicest hotels in the world, plus sumptuous gastronomy at some great restaurants. Everything is done for your satisfaction !"

"Larvotto Beach - This man made beach of spotless white sand has to be one of the most glamorous places in the world to enjoy some sunbathing and people watching."

Kewtee3 says:
"Supposedly Monaco is the most densely populated country on earth but I certainly didn't get that feeling when I was there. In fact, we stopped for lunch at a restaurant on this beach and we pretty much had the place to ourselves! Mind you, it was March so not many tourists. I guess many of the residents are actually not there for a lot of the year... grand prix drivers, tax exiles etc!"
