London Travel Guide

Q: I would like to know why single travelers must often pay almost twice the price for a holiday compared to the price per person that couples pay?
A: This is a common complaint about among single holidaymakers and travellers. Hotels frequently charge single supplements in an effort to maximise their revenues per hotel room. However, things are improving and holiday companies such as Thomson Holidays For One and Thomas Cook Singles Skiing are starting to offer better deals for solo travelers.

Tom says:
"If you visit London do not miss Chinatown. When you walk through the arches you feel as if you are in a bustling Chinese town. The sights and smells are wonderful - you cannot pass by without having a meal!"

J Didsfell says:
"Wonky's chinese restaurant is near here. I used to eat there all the time because they had the best food and the waiters took real pleasure in being as rude as possible to the customers. Excellent fun."
