Q: Are the pyramids the oldest thing on earth ?
A: If you are talking man-made structures then the pyramids are certainly old, dating from nearly 5000 years ago. However, older structures do exist such as the Tower of Jericho in the West Bank which is estimate at over 10,000 years old.
