"Cyprus is so pretty in places. These coastal areas around the Akamas Peninsular are a joy and definitely worth spending a day exploring in a hire car. I'd recommend getting a jeep if possible - we had a small Fiat and got stuck in sand a couple of times. Some of the roads are just sandy tracks."
