Bristol Travel Guide

Q: Where in Wales is most historically interesting to visit?
A: Lots of choice but as a starting point there are 4 fantastic castles in the county of Gwynedd that were built in the 13th century and are collectively designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Try the VisitWales heritage section for more info.

Lynn Caldwell says:
"The clifton Suspension Bridge provides a lovely attraction. The Architecture is stunning. There is also, on the left hand side coming into the bridge from Bristol City Centre there is a visitor attraction - all about the building of the bridge. It's not well advertised, and looks like a house, but it will add that extra sparkle to your visit. also, if you follow the road up to the downs, you'll get an excellent view of the bridge from higher up. there are toilets, and a huge parkland area for walks and bike rides, picnics and sightseeing.
